INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Mainstreet®, the nation’s largest developer of transitional healthcare properties, announced today that Meyer Najem, one of the Midwest’s largest construction firms, will exclusively lead its construction projects.
“The properties we develop represent how Mainstreet is transforming lives and disrupting the healthcare industry,” said Zeke Turner, founder and CEO of Mainstreet. “Meyer Najem has been an essential part of our team for almost a decade, building properties that deliver hospitality-oriented care on time and on budget. We are now strengthening our relationship and, together, further expanding our national footprint of post-acute and transitional care properties across the United States.”
The two Indiana-based companies have a longstanding relationship, dating back to 2008 when Mainstreet initially began developing, designing and building skilled nursing facilities. Since then, the two companies have collaborated on 36 properties, with approximately 40 more anticipated over the next two years.
“As Mainstreet continues to grow in the health care and housing markets, Meyer Najem is excited to grow with them,” said Tim Russell, president of Meyer Najem. “As more Americans need transitional and post-acute care, the properties we build for Mainstreet will play a critical role in their care, enabling them to get well and get back to their lives.”
Meyer Najem is currently building four Mainstreet properties in the states of Texas and Colorado, including a 70-bed, single-story facility in Loveland, Colorado. The project broke ground in October 2016, and is slated for completion in late 2017.
