Rumble Boxing, Fitness Facility Buildout

Rumble Boxing runs a 45-minute workout on teardrop heavy bags, and its first Indiana location needed a space built for it. Our Commercial Light division delivered the 2,500 SF buildout on the north side of Indianapolis, with an open-concept boxing floor and a lobby, locker area, gear shop, restrooms, and storage around it.

The real design problem was the shared wall. A room full of people hitting heavy bags makes noise and moves the building, and the business next door had nothing to do with any of it. We installed a soundproofing assembly and a vibration pad on that wall, so Rumble could open at full intensity without its neighbor feeling it.
