Quality starts with a plan. Every punch list item, every callback, every system that doesn’t work the way it should traces back to a decision that was made too late or not made at all. So we make those decisions early, write them down, and hold ourselves to them on every project.
Our Quality Control Program is a documented process that follows your project from preconstruction through the years after you move in. It’s carried out by the project managers and superintendents who build alongside you every day, supported by our Virtual Design and Construction team and the specialists in our Building Performance Group. Quality isn’t handed off to someone else to check. It’s built in by the people responsible for the work, then verified.
A PROCESS THAT FOLLOWS YOUR PROJECT
The program is structured around the stages of your project, with defined checklists and inspections tracked in our project management system so nothing depends on memory.
Preconstruction
- design and technical review with your team to catch constructability and performance issues while they're still on paper.
Submittals and subcontractor alignment
- thorough submittal review and confirmation that every trade partner understands the project, not just their scope.
Pre-installation meetings
- the team formulates and finalizes the installation plan before the first piece goes in.
Installation
- work the plan in the field.
Inspection
- double-check the work against the plan, with third-party testing, enclosure review, and performance verification scoped to the systems that matter most on your building.
Owner training
- your facility team learns the systems they've inherited before they have to operate them.
Ongoing support
- we stay involved after turnover.

Some parts of a building carry more risk than others: the enclosure, the mechanical systems, the way everything comes together at commissioning. That’s where our Building Performance Group comes in, with specialized building systems knowledge that goes deeper than a typical project team’s, focused on the systems where careful review makes the biggest difference.
NO WORK HIDES IN THE WALLS
Before anything gets covered up, it gets documented. Our VDC and reality capture teams capture conditions throughout construction with 360-degree photos, laser scanning, and model-based verification, so you have a clear record of what was built, not just what you can see.
WE DON'T HAND YOU THE KEYS AND DISAPPEAR
We live and invest in the communities where we build. The school, the hospital, the apartment building we finish this year is one our own people and neighbors will use for decades, and we want to be the contractor you call for the next one. That’s why owner training and post-turnover support are part of the program, not a courtesy. When something isn’t working the way it should, you’ll reach a person who knows your building and wants to help you fix it.
