Westfield Washington Schools moves hundreds of bus routes a day, and every one of them now starts at the new 46,000 SF Transportation Center on Towne Road. The district had outgrown its original facility, and the new building gives the transportation team space designed around the work they actually do.
Quality control ran on thermal imaging. Our Building Performance Group flew drones during QA and QC inspections, reading heat signatures across the roof and envelope in real time. The district took possession of a building whose envelope performance had been measured rather than assumed, and turnover was verified leak-free. On a facility housing a fleet and the people who maintain it, a dry building is the difference between planned maintenance and emergency repair.
