Nobis Rehabilitation Partners, Bradenton Rehabilitation Hospital

This 63,000 SF, three-story inpatient rehabilitation hospital brings 60 beds of dedicated rehabilitation care to a part of Manatee County that previously had none. Located in an established medical corridor less than five miles from Manatee Memorial Hospital, it serves patients leaving acute care after a stroke, brain injury, or orthopedic trauma.

The building is designed to withstand 157 mph winds, and its medical gas, nurse call, and life safety systems were tested and commissioned before opening. Built on two combined parcels, including a former bank site bordered by homes, the project was coordinated closely with neighbors through advance notice of utility shutdowns and nighttime roadway work. The result is a place where patients can focus on recovery close to home.
