Town of Speedway, Municipal Center, Town Hall and Police Department Headquarters

A vacant two-story bank building on one of Speedway’s most visible corners is now the town’s municipal center. The 42,000 SF renovation brought town administration, school administration offices, and the police department together under one roof for the first time, in a building that had stood empty at a prominent intersection.

The police headquarters includes holding cells, an evidence room, and dedicated training and fitness space, all built into the existing structure. Public meeting rooms and a versatile kitchen let the building host community gatherings as readily as town business. Speedway gained a single home for its government and put a landmark corner back to work.
