Brooke’s Place
Brooke’s Place is an Indianapolis-based nonprofit dedicated to transforming grief into hope by providing support groups, therapy services, and education for children, teens, young adults, and their families who have experienced the loss of a loved one. Their programs offer a safe, compassionate environment where grieving young people can connect with others who share similar experiences and work through their loss with the guidance of mental health professionals. Brooke’s Place serves the central Indiana community and welcomes volunteers and corporate partners who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those navigating grief.
Morning Light, Inc.
Morning Light, Inc. is nonprofit based in Indianapolis that provides a free home for terminally ill individuals of low income who are on hospice and have nowhere else to turn. Rooted in the belief that every person deserves dignity, comfort, and compassion at the end of life, Morning Light offers round-the-clock support, home-cooked meals, and a true sense of community for residents who often have no family or support system of their own. Since its founding in 2004, Morning Light has served more than 1,000 residents and continues to care for 60 to 80 individuals each year.
