Mishawaka Fieldhouse

Located in North-Central Indiana, the recently opened 220,000-square-foot Mishawaka Fieldhouse was designed to serve as a sports haven built for play, community, and growth, driving economic development and enhancing the quality of life in Mishawaka. Featuring a 70-yard turf field, 19 volleyball courts, 10 basketball courts, 12 pickleball courts, batting cages and more, this complex is set to become a major draw for Northern Indiana’s youth sports leagues, providing state-of-the-art facilities for athletes of all ages and skill levels.

Meyer Najem partnered with Card & Associates and krM Architecture to bring this project to life. Construction started in June of 2023, and our team expertly navigated some unique challenges. The nearby Juday Creek resulted in groundwater obstacles, and nearby road construction required the construction of a temporary access road through a field. Meyer Najem’s collaborative approach and expertise in overcoming construction challenges were instrumental in delivering this project on time and within budget.

Strong relationships with local contractors helped ensure the project’s success. Site Contractor John Boettcher Sewer and Excavating was vital to keeping work moving during bad weather, Sterling Concrete’s foundation work was completed early, and Martell Electric consistently delivered throughout the project.
