Brownsburg HS Natatorium Renovation

Brownsburg Community School Corporation, located in Central Indiana, recently completed a comprehensive remodel of its high school natatorium. Originally constructed by Meyer Najem in 2004, the project aimed to enhance the aquatic center’s capabilities and provide a state-of-the-art facility for students and the community. The modernized natatorium now boasts an expanded 10-lane, 50-meter Myrtha stainless-steel pool, the first of its kind in Indiana, which ranges from 4-feet deep to 13-feet-6-inches deep. A cutting-edge timing system and video replay boards have been installed to elevate the competitive experience.

Beyond the pool itself, the renovation encompassed significant infrastructure upgrades. All pool mechanical equipment was replaced, ensuring optimal efficiency and performance. The project also included the installation of new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems throughout the facility as well as enhanced amenities such as expanded locker rooms, increased spectator seating, and convenient event concessions. These additions will undoubtedly enrich the overall experience for athletes, coaches, and spectators alike.

This successful renovation was made possible through the collaborative efforts of several key partners: Brownsburg Community School Corporation, CSO Architects, R. E. Dimond and Associates, Design27, Spear Pools, and LHB (Lynch, Harrison & Brumleve, Inc.). Their expertise and dedication were instrumental in delivering this exceptional project to the Brownsburg community.
