Meyer Najem Southeast played a key role in the construction of the Baptist Health Lake Asbury Primary Care facility, a 10,500-square-foot project completed in a 10-month timeframe. The project aimed to expand Baptist Health’s presence in Clay County and improve access to healthcare for Lake Asbury residents. To achieve this, the team collaborated closely with city officials and design partners. Cost-saving measures, including value engineering measures such as parking lot reduction and material substitutions, were implemented to keep the project on budget.

Overcoming challenges was key to the project’s success. Effective trade coordination, navigating municipal permitting processes, and incorporating lessons learned from previous projects were crucial. The team’s dedication to creating a modern and inviting space resulted in a facility featuring open layouts, high ceilings, and abundant natural light, enhancing the patient and provider experience.
